Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using Soca, including its website, WhatsApp channel, voice call features, and related services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Godspeed Innovation Private Limited("we", "our", "us", or "Soca").
By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and Godspeed Innovation Private Limited. Your continued use of the Service following any updates to these Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.
2. Description of Service
Soca is a relevance engine that connects professionals based on verified problem-solving outcomes rather than credentials alone. The platform serves two categories of registered Soca Users — those seeking expertise and those offering it — and facilitates meaningful, outcome-driven connections between them.
The Service may include:
Soca User profile creation and matching
AI-assisted conversations via WhatsApp and voice calls
A social ledger of verified professional outcomes
Trust and credibility scoring based on community interactions
3. Eligibility
To use the Service, you must:
Be at least 18 years of age
Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
Not be barred from receiving services under applicable Indian or international law
Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
4. User Accounts and Registration
When you create an account with Soca, you agree to:
Provide truthful and accurate information about yourself and your professional background
Keep your login credentials confidential and not share them with any third party
Notify us immediately at hello@asksoca.com if you suspect any unauthorized access to your account
Take responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false or misleading information.
5. WhatsApp and Voice Communication
Soca uses WhatsApp and voice calls as user-initiated communication channels. By engaging with Soca through these channels, you agree to the following:
Opt-in required: Soca will only initiate contact after you send the first message or explicitly opt in.
Permitted communications: Messages are limited to responses to your requests, service updates, and match notifications you have opted into.
No unsolicited messaging: Soca will not send promotional or marketing messages through WhatsApp without your explicit consent.
Opt-out: You may stop receiving WhatsApp messages at any time by sending "STOP" or contacting us at hello@asksoca.com.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others. You must not:
Misrepresent your identity, credentials, or professional experience
Use the Service to harass, abuse, threaten, or deceive other users
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
Scrape, copy, or reproduce any content from the Service without our prior written consent
Use the Service to transmit spam, malware, or other harmful content
Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely claim an affiliation with any person or entity
Use the Service in any way that violates applicable Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023
7. Matching and Introductions
Soca facilitates connections between its two categories of Soca Users. By using the matching features, you acknowledge that:
Soca acts as an intermediary only and is not a party to any agreement, engagement, or transaction entered into between matched users
Soca does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any user profile or verified outcome record
Any professional relationship formed through the Service is solely between the relevant users
Soca is not liable for any disputes, losses, or damages arising from interactions between matched users
8. Verified Outcomes and Social Ledger
Soca may display a social ledger of professional outcomes associated with your profile. By submitting or authorizing outcome data, you:
Confirm that all information submitted is accurate and not misleading
Grant Soca the right to display, verify, and use this information within the platform
Acknowledge that other users may view your verified outcomes as part of the matching process
Understand that disputed or unverifiable outcomes may be removed at Soca's discretion
9. Third-Party Integrations
Soca may allow connection to third-party services including Google, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. By connecting such services, you:
Authorize Soca to access only the data you explicitly approve
Acknowledge that your use of third-party platforms is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies
Agree that Soca is not responsible for data practices or service interruptions from third-party providers
10. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, technology, and materials comprising the Service — including but not limited to the Soca name, logo, matching algorithms, and social ledger infrastructure — are the exclusive property of Godspeed Innovation Private Limited and protected under applicable intellectual property law.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. You must not reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written consent.
11. User-Generated Content
By submitting any content to Soca (including profile information, outcome records, or messages), you grant Soca a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, store, display, and process that content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.
You retain ownership of your content and may request its deletion at any time by contacting hello@asksoca.com.
12. User-Generated Content
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Soca does not warrant that:
The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components
Any matches or introductions facilitated through the Service will result in successful professional outcomes
Information provided by users is accurate or complete
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Godspeed Innovation Private Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us (if any) in the three months preceding the claim.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Godspeed Innovation Private Limited, its directors, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
Your use of the Service
Your violation of these Terms
Your infringement of any third-party rights
Any inaccurate information you provide through the Service
15. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without notice, if we determine that you have violated these Terms or engaged in conduct harmful to other users or the platform.
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at hello@asksoca.com. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, subject to any obligations that survive termination.
16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to first attempt good-faith resolution through direct communication. If a resolution cannot be reached within 30 days, either party may pursue formal legal proceedings.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or by email where possible. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised accordingly. Continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
18. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable under applicable law, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
19. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Godspeed Innovation Private Limited with respect to your use of the Service and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.
